Hello! I have been with First Light Child Advocacy center since January 2023. I am the Lead Forensic Interviewer. I forensically interview children who have allegedly been physically, sexually, or emotionally abused, witnessed a crime or have been exposed to illegal substances. I was trained in forensic interviewing in February 2023. I am also trained in hair and nail follicle testing. Prior to this I worked with DHHS as a Child and Family Services Specialist for almost 4 years. I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in psychology and criminal Justice from Wayne State College in 2019. I graduated high school from High Plains Community Schools in 2015. I grew up in Clarks, Nebraska. I currently live in Central City, Nebraska. I am currently working on my Masters in School Counseling through Wayne State College. I am also in the process of becoming a licensed foster parent. I have a 2-year-old son, Wesley, and another on the way in January 2024! I enjoy playing softball, sand volleyball, and going to the lake or river. I love helping children and creating a safe space for them to tell their story.
