Hello! My name is Jacey Klassen, I am the youngest in a big and crazy family, with 5 sisters and 1 brother. We are all very close and spend as much time together as possible when we can. I look up to all of my siblings in everything that I do!
I am a very busy body and thoroughly enjoy doing outdoor activities in my free time. I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2023 with a Bachelors in Family Science and a minor in Social Work. I have been working with First Light Child Advocacy Center since May 2023, and I have enjoyed every second in my role as a Family Advocate. I’ve dedicated my life to being a steady voice and a source of strength for families navigating trauma and healing. As a Family Advocate, I walk alongside children and their loved ones to make sure they feel not only heard—but truly supported—every step of the way.
I care deeply about the safety and well-being of our youth. I believe every child deserves the chance to recover in a space where they feel safe, seen, and valued. Whether I’m helping connect families with resources, advocating for their needs, or simply being present to listen, I bring my whole heart into this work.
This isn’t just a job to me—it’s a calling. And every time I witness a young person take a step forward in their healing, I’m reminded exactly why I do what I do.
