Hello, I'm Valeria Cardoza, the Administrative Assistant at First Light Child Advocacy Center, where I’ve had the privilege of supporting our mission-driven work for the past two years. I am bilingual, highly organized, and deeply committed to creating a welcoming and efficient environment for the families and professionals we serve. A proud graduate of Grand Island Senior High (Class of 2020), I’m currently preparing to take the next step in my professional journey by pursuing a nursing degree at Central Community College, with the goal of becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). My passion for helping others continues to guide both my current role and my aspirations for the future. Outside of work, I wear my favorite title: mom. I’m blessed with two wonderful children — a spirited three-year-old daughter and a sweet seven-month-old son. I also have a husky. They keep me grounded, joyful, and always moving. I find peace and creativity in the outdoors — whether it's traveling, exploring, or spending time in the garden with my little assistant (my daughter), who shares my newfound love for plants. On quieter days, nothing beats a cozy night at home with coffee, a good movie, and a bowl of popcorn shared with my family. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me.
